Not only do the authors do a great job at teaching the basics, but they also add detailed instructions about respect, potty training, of course crate training, gentleness training, potty training and more.Great refresher when getting stuck on correcting repetitive negative behaviors, especially for certain stubborn breeds such as our highly intelligent rat terrer, I mean terrier! As much experience that I have on informally training past and present dogs, now I understand why a dog may seek a different leader of the pack and become disobedient when you only show the bare minimum of assertiveness as a leader.
